Miaoli Sanyi Delicacies‧Shengxing Inn
  • “Shengxing Inn” is famous for Hakka cuisine, and the restaurant has 3 chain stores. The earliest restaurant is opened next to the old Shengxing Train Station. The restaurant provides authentic yet healthy Hakka food. 40 years has passed by from the establishment of the first restaurant. Though part of the building of the restaurant was damaged from the earthquake, the building still remains the same structure. It is one of the scenic spots that tourists would come when they come to Shengxing.

    “Shengxing Inn” used to be a cargo store. The appearance and inner furniture of the restaurant all transmit the atmosphere of ancient.

  • Hakka Gift Package

    The Hakka gift packages are varied for you to choose from. There are rice cake, sweet rice noodles, salty rice noodles, pickled vegetable or mochi.

  • Hakka Braised Pork

    Hakka braised pork seems easy to make. However, there is complicated preparation. The pork required to fry first then add soy sauce, crystal sugar and wine to simmer. After few hours, the braised pork is ready to serve on the table!

  • Hakka Stir-fried

    The Hakka stir-fried is a symbolic dish of Hakka food. The dish has pork, squid and green onion in it. It is tasty and surely will make you unforgettable.

  • Shengxing Tofu

    The specialty in store is the “Shengxing Tofu”. The tofu is soft and slippery without adding any chemical additives.

  • Tea Oil Stews Duck

    The tea oil is from local farmer and simmered with duck and ginger for 2 hours.
